Hi

We have been told by elected officials that if you voted yes but with changes", which I think most of us voted as we don't want Tivoli Road or Clarinda Park changed, on the DL survey the county council will count this and present it as a yes vote.

To counter this please go back online https://dlrcoco.citizenspace.com/infrastructure-climate-change/living-streets-dun-laoghaire/consultation and revote no. Force the council to tell the councillors there is not the support for the plan and force them to revisit it where it can be properly scoped. There is a very workable option of making Tivoli Rd one way towards Glasthule and the Coast Rd one way towards Blackrock with room on both roads for a dedicated Cycleway.

Even if you like the idea, remember, DLCoCo have repeatedly screwed up, whether the park in front of Bloomfields, €6.4 million (of our money) and three attempts and still what they have given us is some yellow monstrosity and a slide that's so tall my 7-year-old refuses to use it, maybe they built it for the army, who knows. Or the road works on the upper Glenageary Road turning into Adelaide Road where they couldn't even get the calculations correct so forced cars to drive on the pavement simply to make the turn or the millions spent on the baths to don't contain a bath.

Please go vote now and share the change.org petition - I will share it again with the councillors on Monday before the vote when it has the chance to grow as big as possible. Talking to the DLCoCo is like Marge trying to order coffee

Thanks

Dave
