Duluth has the chance to become a leader in the climate movement around the state and country. As students and youth in our community, we are urging our local elected officials to take action and declare a climate emergency in Duluth.

The UN IPCC has told us that we only have 11 years left to deal with the climate crisis, before we will be at a point of no return. Taking action on this issue is the only option we have. We will continue to miss school and work, until our voices are heard.
