Dudley MBC claims that Cornbow Hall, Halesowen is uneconomical and, without consultation, they have decided they will no longer run it. If a buyer cannot be found it will cease to be used. It is the only venue of its kind in Halesowen hosting theatre groups, dance and exercise classes, weddings, antiques fairs and visiting entertainers.  Once it’s gone, a hub of social activity for the town will be lost forever and similar venues are either too far, unsuitable or booked out.
