Project aim
240 acres of countryside is under threat from a proposed development and we need to secure it.

About the project
On 26th June, a small article appeared in the Kidderminster Shuttle providing details of a plan being considered by the Local Authority to develop 240 acres of greenbelt countryside; this would include a large tract of grassland, a site of archealogical interest, remains of the historically important medieval Manor Abbey, two working farms, residential properties and a public house.

This will impact the community by ruining one of Halesowen's famous historical landmarks. As well as this it will affect the quality of life and lifestyle for hundreds of people as the public green space will no longer exist, causing an absence of an easily acessible environment for everyone.
