2. Avista Service Users Say #NoBarriersToBlanch
We were touched to have received the following email from John, Eileen, Kathleen and  Margaret in relation to the campaign after discussing the implications.

Good Afternoon Luke,
We are a group of individual's with Disabilities who attend Avista Day services in  the Blanchardstown area and we have been discussing the Barrier issue in Blanchardstown, We do not agree with this proposal to have paid parking in the shopping centre, We feel it is unfair and will reduce accessibility for us and our Busses as we will not be able to access it appropriately, it is Difficult enough for us to park without being charged. We feel it will negatively impact us in our day to day lives and will negatively impact our community, we are already on a reduced income and adding another unnecessary expense will hurt us financially. We really do not want this and feel it is unfair and a disgrace. We hope the council will change their mind and get rid of this proposal. Thank you for taking the time to read this email and we hope to hear from you soon, fingers crossed with positive news regarding this.
Kindest Regards
John, Eileen, Kathleen and Margaret

3. Fingal County Council Decisions
We are keenly awaiting a decision still from Fingal County Council in relation to the planning permission, we are expecting a decision in or around Christmas time. While we await this we will be promoting the petition, our aim is 10,000 signatures before a decision is made.

4. Protest against Planning Permission By PBP-Solidarity
We've been asked to share that a Protest will be happening at 1:00PM tomorrow (Saturday) 15th, in Blanchardstown organised by Deputy Ruth Coppinger (TD) and the PBP-Solidarity Councillors for the area. Unfortunately we will unable to be in attendance but have shared some words for Ruth to say on our behalf tomorrow.
