Hi Folks,

3 Important Updates regarding #NoBarriersToBlanch, thank you for the continued support of the community in pushing back against our community and public services being locked behind a paywall. There are 3 actions you can take to help us push back against the Barriers.

  1. Protest Tomorrow at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre (Draíocht @ 13:00 | 6th December Saturday)
A protest has been called for tomorrow outside Draíocht, at 13:00, Saturday 6th of December. Please come out and support us as we push back against barriers. Have your voice heard. We will be joining the protest tomorrow and will be speaking out against the installation.

  2. GoFundMe: Parking / Planning Report
As we know, Fingal County Council has given the green light to the planning permission for the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre group. We are pushing back against this by lodging an appeal against this to An Coimisiún Pleanála, however we are fighting against a mega conglomerate billion euro company, so we need to get official reports to push back by speaking their language. Please chip in whatever you can here: Click Here for the "GoFundMe" link

  3. Lodge Appeal to An Coimisiún Pleanála
We have until the 14th of December to lodge a further appeal. All appeals against decisions of the Planning Authority and all correspondence in relation to new and existing appeals should be addressed to The Secretary, An
Bord Pleanala, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1. (Tel.01-8588100). Any appeal
made to An Coimisiún Pleanála will be invalid unless it is fully complete
and the correct fee is received by An Coimisiún Pleanála within the
    statutory appeal period.

Bonus Ask: Please share the Change.Org/NoBarriersToBlanch petition to 3 of your WhatsApp Contacts and share it 2 times on Facebook / Instagram / X.com etc. If everyone shares this we will get to 10,000 signatures in no time.

While it might seem like we are fighting an uphill battle, we need to show the Blanche Retail Group, who are managed by SVP group, who actually own APCOA as well (interesting development), that our community has kept that shopping centre open for almost 30 years, and they cannot make an "under the radar" sly application without genuine meaningful consultations with our communities. We need to push back on them at every point possible. Thank you for continuing your support for #NoBarriersToBlanch
