We are making a difference !!

A short while ago I received the following email from the Mayor of Dublin. ---- Dear Fellow Dublin Resident: In response to numerous requests from the community to reconsider the recent vote to approve a contract to conduct a CEQA study of a potential IKEA project I will be raising the item at tonight’s meeting under the Item 9, council member discussion items. Obviously I am only one vote and I can’t force a reconsideration. Also, it is unclear what the reconsideration process would be and when it could be heard, if at all. Staff will need to provide more clarity on this, so I can’t say for sure what will happen tonight. I encourage you to watch or replay the meeting at your convenience. What I do know for sure is that the project is not approved in any way whatsoever and there will be several more opportunities to give community input.
