It is being reported that the iconic Red Squirrel mural at the top of Tara Street is going to be taken down.

The mural is not only beautiful, but also highly symbolic. It is loved by tourists and locals alike and draws attention to environmental problems. Taking it down would be a big loss.

Please find a way to preserve the mural in the place it sits now. It should be possible to incorporate the mural into a new building in some way, similar to the way the church on Abbey Street is incorporated into new VHI building enclosed under the glass.
