UPDATES FEBRUARY 2022. If you see comments 11 months ago that was regarding the incident at the out of school care with their policy for 7:30 am. Since then this petition has remained active and been update with new incidents that occurred at school and out of school care this February 2022. This petition has grew in recent days in signatures in neighborhood. 

1. I was not notified by supervisor/ manager when my son was hit in the head with a basketball until five days later and then he got a concussion. My child was blamed for his behavioral problems that he was having a panic attack. Rather then a emergency phone call or parent phone call. We need to remove child care providers who aren’t fulfilling their duties at child care centers. Therefore, children be kept safe. 
   
2. My children were told by Veronica light (Ronnie)to sit outside the child care licensing with safety checks before 7:30 am because of their policy about not opening up until 7:30 am.  When I advocated for my kids to have them wait inside the child care center. I was targeted by four staff members infront of my kids and I was threated by one of their staff memebers saying that, ''Im going to get it" No child should have to sit outside a daycare in the cold for 5 mins/few mins before 7:30 am with four staff members on jobsite. No children should see their mom being targeted or threatened by any staff members. Veronica light (Ronnie) needs to also be removed as she bully’s staff members.
   
3. CHILDREN AT LORD STRATHCONA ELEMENTARY should not be yelled at by Principle/ Secretary’s/ Teachers/ or any staff. My children both told me that is what is happening to them at school. Children with disabilities shouldn’t be blamed for being a child and using behavioral issues as the scape goat to mistreat children. Secretary named Claudia that works at Lord Strathcona should not be yelling at my child or any other children. Superintendents of these schools need to fulfill their policies by making sure that children are kept safe and not being mistreated by authorities before other actions take into place. 
   

With our votes we are wanting to remove Veronica Light (Ronie) from her position at the OSC, Claudia Bevacqua The secretary at Lord Strathcona Elementary, and Jason Eng the principal at Lord Strathcona Elementary. 

We as a community need to change the oppression for our children, and have justcie in the community. We need people who care about our children. We don’t need our children slipping through the cracks or be bullied by authorities. By signing this petition you are helping many children be heard in the community. Children should not be blamed for their behaviors as a behavioral problem when it’s a emergency situation. Children should be feeling safe and not uncomfortable by sitting outside the daycare center a few minutes before 7:30 am. Parents should feel safe to voice their opinions and not feel afraid for speaking up regarding their kids at Elementary school and daycare. Child care licenses officers, Supervisors, managers, superintendents need to take our complaint’s seriously before it turns into a protest. ANTIBULLYING is everywhere on an everyday basis and our children spirits are gentle and we as parents, community members need to protect them and guide them in the right manner against bullies that are in hierarchy!
