On Friday, Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s department charged a Giant Eagle grocery store deli employee with a felony for a eating a few loosies (ham slices) on the job. Loss Prevention reviewed 8 years of tapes to determine that she had consumed over 9000 dollars worth of Ham loosies during her tenure (I assume this is based on the average of 3 slices a day with a medium slice setting ( 3 or 4 on the big knob) with the aggregate price being adjusted yearly and including inflation)
When confronted, She immediately admitted to it. Why? Because eating a few loose slices is not a fucking felony.
What is a fucking crime is working somewhere 8 years and not having enough money to afford a decent lunch.
Please sign this and shut down the 'Ham Gestapo' at Giant Eagle and drop the charges to prevent this from ruining a lady's life because she had a loosie here and there.
