Covid-19 has impacted our children, mental, physical, emotional, and educational health.  These very unnecessary, unscientific lockdowns, school closures, mask-wearing, social distancing, and vaccine mandates for sports and extracurricular in the school and community have been unjustified, as per doctors' recommendations. 

We as parents, guardians, and community members are coming together so this does not happen again to our children in the next waves that are predicted by Dr. Tam. As per the Globe and Mail headline, "Public health mandates could return in the fall, Tam warns." published on February 25th, 2022.

We will follow the science of the WHO, CDC, Government of Canada Site the NACI, Medical Studies, and the recommendations of Canadian/American doctors alike throughout this pandemic.  This Open Letter to our Government officials has all the information needed to state our case as to why we will no longer comply with any mandates put upon our children, now or in future waves through this pandemic.

For children, the pandemic was not a pandemic of Covid but that of an unnecessary loss of stability, mental health crisis, and lack of educational needs being met. Some that have succumbed to the vaccinations even though the parents didn’t agree, just to play sports or to feel like an equal amongst friends and family and well - society. It is a tragic situation that has happened to them in the face of those in charge when it never had to happen this way. All this time lost, all these medical, physical, emotional, and academic pieces we will have to pick up for them, and teach them how to bounce back. Children are only resilient – till they are not. It is TIME well overdue to lift all these mandates for them immediately and permanently.
