A local man died today as a result of a massive head trauma due to coming off his quad bike.. He wasn't wearing a crash helmet as this is currently not required by law.. The current law by the DVLA. STATES "Quad bike drivers and passengers don’t have to wear crash helmets, but it’s recommended." This needs to change as I'm sure my friend is not the first person to die as a result of not wearing a helmet. He has left behind a devastated wife and three children.
