The sexualization of the teenage body has become as increasingly disturbing issue. Our chest, thighs, legs and shoulder are non sexual organs. If they distract other students and teachers are they then not the problem ? That if a underage girls body distracts teachers you want them employed there ? Your allowing young boys to grow with the mindset that it’s okay to view women as mere objects and that they’re entire body is sexual. We are people too. We are human beings who have rights, we are not sexual objects meant to be viewed. If boys can wear shorts to their thighs and wife beaters and cut off sleeves why can’t we ? Why must we be labeled as a distraction when we are there to receive an education like everyone else. the dress code is based on keeping men and staff happy. it becomes a problem when grown men and women have an issue with children. we are in school for 7 hours a day 5 days a week for most of our lives and being forced to cover up things we can not control is taxing, and makes women feel like they are only here to be sexualized. the idea of sexualizing children is weird. looking at men and having the standard that they are automatically sexualized by a woman is a standard that we should not have held them too
