The Leemore ca Liberty middle school dresscode is absolutely not okay. They demand students this strict dresscode from collar shirts and many other unnecessary things. Not to mention this dresscode is more directed to female students which is sexist. Clothes of choice allow students to express themselves in APPROPRIATE ways i get not having foul language and erotic things on tee shirts, and bottoms that reveal too much. This is unnecessary for crop tops and graphic designs because First instead of telling young woman to “cover up” Is sexualizing a minor but is normalized in our society. And whats wrong with appropriate graphics? Nothing exactly. They think demanding dresscode is preparing these students for the future and teaching them to be professional. After all this does not need to be required because we are in MIDDLE SCHOOL. We should not worry on how to be mature and professional right now. We are 11-14 year olds. We are just kids and you act like were full grown adults that work a 9 to 5 job already. Also some parents camt afford the dresscode because collared shirts can be very pricy and many parents have lost their jobs due to covid. CHANGE THE LIBERTY MIDDLE SCHOOLE DRESSCODE.
