Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron release on May 24, 2002. And was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards, but lost to Spirited Away. This film was a part of my childhood, as well as my older sisters too, and was thinking, Spirit needs a sequel, but in 2017, an animated series called Spirit: Riding Free came out instead. I was disappointed, and had no interest in the show, even though i loved the movie. But, this petition is about giving Spirit a sequel, even for an underrated Dreamworks Animated movie. The sequel could focus on Spirit, along with Rain and their son, Spirit Jr, and could continue the adventures of Spirit & Rain, and when Spirit Jr was born. And maybe it could have the movie have the traditional 2D animation style that the first movie had, but i wouldn't mind it being CGI animated, but I would prefer traditional 2D animation more for the sequel, but even with CGI animation, the movie would be still good. It could also introduce newer characters, and a new villain as well. And would also love to see Little Creek from the first movie make a return for the sequel. Matt Damon could return to do the voice over for Spirit in the sequel. Also, Bryan Adams could do the songs for the movie as well like he did with the first movie. Spirit is an underrated gem by Dreamworks, and it definitely deserves a sequel. What do you think? Should Spirit get a sequel?
