The Prince of Egypt is, as everyone knows, the greatest animated film ever.  It was revolutionary in its time, using shadow and water animation that was incredible, and the musical numbers inspire awe.  The film still resonates with audiences today.  As live-action remakes seem to be the trend these days, it seems appropriate that this masterpiece receives the same treatment.  The original animated feature strived for high archaeological and Biblical accuracy, and if a live-action remake did the same, it would be a box office blow-out.
