Ryan Dewitt-Todd started this petition to Dreamworks

In: "1998", Dreamworks Animation released their second full length feature film, based on the story of Moses, called: "The Prince of Egypt". Two years later, in: "2000", they released a direct-to-video prequel, to The Prince of Egypt, based on the story of Joseph, called: "Joseph: King of Dreams". This is part of a plan that Dreamworks had, to produce animated film adaptations of famous bible stories. Sadly though, Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams were the only two that they did. So I had this idea to create a petition, encouraging Dreamworks to continue this trend of turning famous bible stories into full length animated feature films. That's the Dreamworks I love. Not the Dreamworks that relies on pop cultural references and toilet humor, and trying to make their characters animal versions of their celeberity actors, the Dreamworks Animation that created standing innovations, and much like Don Bluth, was Disney when Disney wasn't Disney. Even going further then Disney at some points. Although films like Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams have Disney feels to them, they are still uniquely they're own thing, and have huge impacts on their fan. Fans love both of those movies, for taking their original source materials seriously, and not feeling the need to rely on gimmicks. Whatever Disney was trying to accomplish with films like Pocahontas, Hercules, & Mulan, in my opinion, Dreamworks perfected with Prince of Egypt, and Joseph: King of Dreams. So it would be a great honor of Dreamworks and Universal made more animated film adaptations of famous bible stories, and this petition can help! It can bring back the Dreamworks Animation that I, (as well as I'm assuming a lot of other people), love. And considering those movies were handrawn, I think it would make sense for their bible film adaptations to stay handrawn, as oppose to being transfered to CG. Well anyways, what do you say guys? Let's do this!
