The Kansas Attorney Generals' race in 2022 is going to be one of the most consequential races of the election cycle. We need a candidate that has a track record of fighting for the rights of workers and everyday Kansans. I believe this person to be Kristie Welder. 

Kristie Welder is an attorney in private practice at The Welder Firm along with her husband (and former US House candidate) Brent Welder. She has won numerous high profile and impactful cases for healthcare workers during the COVID pandemic, employee's who were getting their retirement funds misused by giant corporations, and more. 

Kristie has been at the forefront when fighting for the political change we, as Democrats, have been talking about. I think that it's high time we stand up and fight for her. If we want a candidate that will expand access to the ballot, fight for the rights of women, and support our amazing Governor Laura Kelly then we need to #DraftKristie for the Kansas Attorney General race. 

No other Democrats have announced in the race yet and I think it's incredibly important that we coalesce around a candidate early. Kristie is that candidate.
