 Over the past weeks, NaturismRE has announced several major initiatives and has formally released the Five Pillars that guide our mission. These developments have naturally prompted questions, and we welcome the opportunity to provide clarity.

NaturismRE continues to fully support nudism and naturism as meaningful components of global wellbeing. We believe that the wider adoption of naturist principles can significantly contribute to resolving the growing health challenges faced by modern societies. Naturism and nudism promote healthier bodies, stronger mental balance, and a more honest relationship with ourselves and the natural world. These values remain central to our work.

Recently, we launched the Safe Health Zones initiative, the first global framework designed to protect night shift workers from the serious and long overlooked health consequences of nocturnal labour. SHZ uses the 11 Levels of Naturism, also known as the 11 Levels of Health Restoration, to advocate for specialised recovery zones that help workers counteract the negative impact of disrupted circadian rhythms. With the unveiling of the Five Pillars, NRE has also expanded into humanitarian support. This strategic evolution demonstrates that naturism is not merely about the absence of clothing. It is a philosophy grounded in dignity, respect, philanthropy and human betterment.

We have also clarified our definition of naturism. Consistent with the philosophy of the founders of modern naturism, NRE emphasises that naturism does not require nudity. The founders taught that naturism is first and foremost a way of thinking, a conscious, ethical and nature aligned approach to life. Nudity is a powerful expression of this philosophy, but it is not the philosophy itself.

Is NRE moving away from nudism and naturism advocacy? Absolutely not. Our commitment remains unwavering. But naturism is only one part of a much broader mission. We exist to help build a better world by empowering individuals, advancing health, promoting integrity and encouraging communities to reclaim their voice. No organisation can change the world alone, but together with public support, change becomes not only possible but inevitable. The more support we receive, the faster these advances will occur.
