We're Nearing 4,000 Signatures – Help Us Reach 12,000 to Make History
To all our incredible supporters – thank you.
With 3,898 signatures, we’re about to cross the 4,000 mark – a significant milestone. But our ultimate goal is 12,000 signatures, the approximate number needed for this petition to be taken seriously by politicians, policy makers, and the media.
That means we’re already one third of the way there – and we've done it in less than two months since the Australian Naturist Federation (ANF) and Get Naked Australia (GNA) began supporting and sharing the petition.
A heartfelt thank you to the leaders of these organisations for giving this cause the visibility it deserves.
And here's something to celebrate:
94% of these signatures are from Australians – which shows this isn’t some fringe idea, but a real and growing movement.
Well done, Aussies! OI! OI! OI!
At this pace, we could be ready to submit the petition by the end of August 2025. But let’s not fall asleep on early success — we must keep promoting this Bill and pushing forward!

Yes – there are several petitions. Those requesting legislative changes are hosted on Change.org and those requesting social reforms on gopetition.com, they are part of NRE grand plan! …Too many, some will say? Well they complement each other…

Or are you content with the status quo – where only a few, scattered beaches and isolated areas exist, often poorly recognised and barely protected?
At NaturismRE (NRE), we are fighting for:
Legal recognition and protection of nudists and naturists across Australia
The right to enjoy naturism without fear of harassment or discrimination
A framework that allows both Australians and visitors to safely and freely practise naturism in appropriate spaces
And perhaps most importantly – education and social reform, to address ignorance, fear, and outdated preconceptions
Why So Many Petitions?
NaturismRE is not only about petitions — it is a broad movement dedicated to the resurgence of naturism through education, awareness, community action, and cultural shift. But petitions are one of the most important tools in this journey. They are how we ignite change.
These petitions are not just about legal reform. They’re about starting the conversations our society has long avoided.
Without conversation, there is no education.
And without education, naturism cannot grow.
Not all the Bills, Acts or cultural petitions may succeed on the first attempt. That’s the reality of reform. But the most important thing is that these efforts:
• Start public and political conversations
• Create awareness
• Lay the foundation for future success
Every signature is a statement of support. Even those from overseas – while not counted in political totals – help show international pressure and global solidarity, sending a strong message to our lawmakers.
Petitions are a catalyst — not the goal, but the means to reach it.
