We the past and present students of the Public Administration Department of Medgar Evers College are appealing to the non-reappointment of Dr. Zulema Blair the Chair of the Public Administration department. We call on your attention to the incomprehensible dismissal of a dedicated educator from an institution that has benefited from her hard work and dedication.
In the past few months this educational institution has been the pinnacle of much controversy in the community and has stirred much debate concerning the dismissal of a few distinguished lecturers and the Chair of the department. As the new administration continues its restructuring, we demand that Dr. Zulema Blair be reinstated to her right full position a Chair of the department. To this day we the student are yet to receive proper reasoning as to why this particular educator is being dismissed when she has done everything in full capacity of and to the benefit of the students and college. Indeed Medgar Ever College will most definitely need her to continue to rebuild the Public Administration Department’s capacity to help all students achieve academic success.
