Allegheny Health did NOT renew Dr. Alan Lantzy's contract which expires in June 2017 and he is just 2-3 years away from retiring.  Dr. Lantzy has been with West Penn for over 20 years.  He has saved  the lives of many babies including my twin boys who were born 13 weeks premature in September 2011.  Dr. Lantzy is a wonderful doctor with a great personality, he truly makes the NICU journey a little easier!  He has a great bed side manner and doesn't talk to families like he's superior.  He's professional and outgoing. This is devastating news for the NICU.  I hope this petition speaks volumes of all the lives Dr. Alan Lantzy has touched over his career!
