Dr marten boots have been worn since the 1960s by skinheads and in the 1970s by the punks, the 1914 14 eyelet boots have been worn by skinheads, punks and everyone inbetween since the 1980s, we're pretty sure that without the skinhead, punk and other subcultures custom that Dr Marten wouldn't be where they are today, I personally believe along with others that it will be a great shame for Dr Marten to discontinue the 1914s that so many of us have worn over the past 30+ years, we would still like to purchase these boots in the future so please sign this petition in an attempt to keep them on the production line, if they are discontinued they will surely be missed, thankyou.
