  1. IIT professors have submitted plan to begin the session in January. 5 states have observed lockdown with more expected. Railways are closed till the 2nd week of August. WHO data states covid cases will peak in July & August. All Govt exams are cancelled. Have mercy.

CBSE and ICSE exams and all exams with a national relevance have been either cancelled or indefinitely postponed, yet 40 lakh students and consequently their parents continue to be endangered by the government by conducting the NEET and JEE mains exams in the 3rd and 4th week of July.

The institutions which we contend to gain admission into understand the global pandemic situation. 18,552 news cases with a total of 5 lakh cases of covid-19 positive Indians have been found till 27th of June. IITs are prepared to begin new sessions from January 1st. Is the government ignorant of the pleas of concerned candidates and parents? Does money making have priority over the future of our nation? We demand postponement of JEE mains and NEET exams till the pandemic situation is moderated and student safety can be guaranteed. July 18th is not the date where such a guarantee is possible as the government cancelled the CBSE exams which were to be held till 15th July. It is evident that even our government thinks that time slot is not condusive to hold exams. Postponing numerous state board exams and the CTET and NIOS exams.

Unfortunately, the engineering and medical candidates are neglected by the government till date and millions of tweets and requests of anxious students are unanswered.
