We are coming together as a community to ban adult themed books and protect minors! The book we are asking for your help to ban is titled"The Bluest Eye".

Kids of all ages should be allowed to read safe and healthy content in school.The students should not be reading content that will ensue mental and emotional harm and bring added confusion. It is NOT censorship to remove adult themed books from the school system to protect minors!

The Bluest Eye demonstrates inappropriate content of pedophilia, child molestation, child rape, graphic rape and explicit details of a father raping his 11 year old daughter. This content is beyond inappropriate. This content is lewd, vile and unlawful criminal pedophilia!

The Bluest Eye has frequently landed on American Library Association's (ALA) list of most challenged books because it contains offensive language, sexually explicit material, and controversial issues, as well as depicting child sexual abuse and being unsuited for the age group.The ALA placed it on the Top Ten Most Challenged Books Lists for 2006, 2014, 2013, and 2020. Ultimately, it became the 34th-most banned book in the United States 1990-1999, the 15th-most banned book 2000-2009, and the 10th-most banned book 2010-2019.
