LaGuardia Highschool, dedicated to the arts has had many successful alumni. Some of these people include:  Jennifer Aniston (actress), Ansel Elgort (actor), Timothee Chalamet (actor), Nicki Minaj (artist) and so many more. But, why is it that Nicki is not allowed to visit? To help inspire kids there, and to learn from her experiences. Nicki loved LaGuardia highschool by stating that, “It was the first time I felt like I really fit in. Everyone there was creative. For once, I didn’t feel like there was anything weird about me.” Current principal, Dr. Lisa Mars has not given a reason as to why she turned down Nicki’s request to visit the school. LaGuardia highschool is a very welcoming highschool, that accepts everyone for who they are. When Nicki was turned down she tweeted, “That school changed my life. I wanted to pay it forward for the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.” She was genuinely excited to come and visit the school, and help kids there. Many students idolize her for her independence and how hard she’s worked to be as successful as she is now. Meeting your idol, and getting advice from them is the best thing that can happen to kids. Help convince Dr. Lisa Mars to allow Nicki to come visit, it will be an experience of a lifetime to the students there.
