So many kids in our society today are not exposed to what is happening to the Earth around them, to no fault of their own. Kids are by nature curious about what is going on around them, but only to what they are introduced to. So why aren't we giving them real issues in the world to be curious about and get involved with? Different kids lead different lives and get introduced to different things because of where they live, family structure, mentors, and many other aspects that life gives us that all have different views of the world. A lot of kids get sheltered from so many situations that go on in everyday life and eventually these kids grow up to be sheltered adults. If we could get schools to implement a required sustainability class just to teach kids on how our world is becoming unsustainable from our everyday actions, their generation would be so much better prepared for and understanding of the World's issues and being able to support them. Kids need to be educated on sustainability issues. This is how we fix our World, together and with help from the kids of every generation and the first step is to educate them.
