The undersigned share a growing concern for problems with food safety in the Agnes Scott eating facilities.  The is especially true at Mollies Cafe and even at Evans. For years, we have observed incidences of unsanitary practices, specifically at Mollies. These practices have led to students, including myself, becoming ill as a result of consuming food from Mollies Cafe.

Yesterday (4/8/2015), a student found a roach in a sandwich she ordered from Mollies. This is absolutely unacceptable and poses a Public Health risk to our community. We pride ourselves on the level of education we receive here at Agnes and we would like to pride ourselves on the standard of living as well.

We have decided to write a petition to create change and demand the improvement of conditions at Mollies Cafe and other dining facilities. In this petition, we will share our individual experiences in the hopes of sharing this with the administration.  We have realized that going to the administration with individual concerns has not brought about the change that needs to occur. It is our hope that the combining of our collective experiences will help the administration to see that this problem is larger than we realize.
