For over 30 years, BET's Bobby Jones Gospel (BJG) has delivered the message of good news, hope and inspiration into the homes of millions. It is the longest running show in the history of television and a Sunday morning staple.

The reason for the unprecedented and unmatched success of BET's BJG is the message it carries. Of the many issues our world is facing today (war, mass murders, racial tension, robbery, rape etc.), the root of it all is sin. We are in heightened times of chaos and God's message of love and hope MUST remain on air! People who are lost and confused, in nursing homes or bed ridden, the broken, hurt and depressed should all have the opportunity to tune into the inspiration that Dr. Jones and his musical guests offer every Sunday. 

    In regards to the Gospel Music industry, Artists and Ministers who have gone on to impact the world in a significant and positive way were likely introduced by BET's Bobby Jones Gospel. By removing this pivotal piece of Gospel Music's foundation, the next generation of life changers will not have the opportunity to be grabbed by the hand and escorted to the edge of the stage, in Dr. Jones' heartfelt and special way of presenting people to the world.
