Change the mode of offline exams taking place at DPS,GBN to hybrid mode

The Issue

Dear Principal
This is regarding the final exams being held in school. I hope you are considering online exams as well. Most of us are concerned about the safety. Following are our concerns -

1. Living with grandparents who have heart conditions , it is a matter of life and death for them, exposure of the virus can be proven very risky.

2. Delhi Public School, GBN has a huge population as compared to any other school and thus there is a lot of exposure.

3. Even few months back, during term 1 many students got infected and school didn't inform other students and families to isolate for personal safety. We understand the need for offline exams but not at the cost of the children's or the family’s safety.

4.You must be aware that still many students are not fully vaccinated and many have not even taken the first dose due to prior infection making them even more vulnerable to contracting Covid. Making them give offline exams is extremely unfair and inconvenient.
This is a very harsh decision made by the school authorities, getting informed 2-3 weeks prior the exams that they'll be offline is such an irresponsible behavior.

We do understand your point of view but we want classes and exams in hybrid mode. As UP government has mentioned that if students and parents want it in hybrid, school cannot force them. It's a gentle request, please do acknowledge.
