William Rice was a Seaman Second Class aboard the USS Arizona and wanted to see the world! His mother perished at a young age, so he was raised by his grandparents in Washington. William died while serving his country and is likely one of the 85 Unknown USS Arizona sailors buried in Punchbowl Cemetery in Honolulu Hawaii. Without your voice against the DPAA, men like William will never be identified, but mass interred back aboard the USS Arizona.
