I bet you didn't know that the USS Arizona had sets of brothers aboard, including Marvin, Harvey and Wesley. In one family, 2 of the 3 brothers were never recovered on the USS Arizona. Marvin and Wesley were stationed near Turret 2 when the blast hit the Arizona. Their older brother Harvey watched in horror from Ford Island, knowing there was no way to get to his brothers, and likely no way they survived. During recovery at least 31 sets of remains were recovered from Turret 2. It is highly likely that one of the brothers if not both could be identified in the 85 unknown graves. Freda Becker, the boys mother, never believed her sons passed during the attack of Pearl Harbor because she could never bury them. If found, the boys could come home to Kansas to be buried next to her. Please share the Becker Boys story and ensure they are identified along with the 83 other unknown USS Arizona casualties.
