Dozers Story - Help Save this Poor Pup

DOZERS STORY
This is a very sad story about the most unfortunate pup named Dozer who has endured a traumatic start to life and has now found himself in what I would classify as yet another abusive and neglectful home.
Dozer was reportedly subjected to beatings as a puppy. After being rescued from 'death row' pound, Waggin Tails Animal Rescue in Geelong had rehoused Dozer to what they claimed to be ‘A loving family’.
Unfortunately, Doza's new home turned out to be far from safe and loving.
He lives in the Seymour Junkyard with nowhere to play. I have witnessed him chained up on a small tether that hangs from a wall, shaking due to restraint with no access to water.
This is where Doza lives :-( It's a far cry from a loving home. As you will see on the video, his owner screams abuse and, in his own words "He gets chained up all day" for trying to escape his terrible existence.
I have witnessed him terrified of his owners verbal abuse, I have seen a large gash on his head, paws and legs, eye infections and dreadful burns/rashes on his belly. I have explained that he needs vet care and the owners have refused. I have had to care for this poor pup for over a year and now I have moved out so can no longer care for him. On the 18 March I drove over 5 hours from my primary home to make sure I was there so I could bring Dozer inside. It was a 36 degree day & the owner told me that if I wasn't there he would have chained him up all day with no supervision.
This is what i have had to treat - numerous times because they wouldn't seek vet care.
I have offered thousands of dollars to take this dog, however the owners will not surrender him.
I have contacted multiple rescues, I have reported this to the RSPCA and no one seems to care. I even went back to the Waggin Tails Rescue and begged them to take him back. I was told that they had a contract with the owners and that they could take him back on the grounds of neglect, so you can imagine my excitement when I heard this.
Instead of turning up to Dozers house. The Rescue Centre phoned the owner to explain there was a complaint and gave them the heads up and in turn has put me in danger.
I am working closely with the Animal Defence Lawyers who are amazing however It appears that the system has failed to protect Dozer and Humans have constantly let him down.
The RSPCA & the Rescue Centre have been alerted and evidence provided but nothing has been done yet.
When I spoke with the rescue centres (and I have spoken with many) they said that this is 'Australia’s Dirty Little Secret'. This needs not be a secret any longer and you can help.
If the system is broke, we can fix it.
I will continue speaking out on behalf of Dozer and other vulnerable animals in similar situations. With the support of the community, we can bring about positive change and help put an end to animal abuse and neglect.
Dozer is part of the Seymour community and, as a community we need to rise up and help poor Dozer and all other animals in his situation.
He is the most kind, gentle and warm doggo and needs your help.
Everyone keeps telling me to give up on him and, despite the threats im receiving, I'm just not going to do that!
Please help Dozer. He needs us more than ever.
By signing this petition, we can go to the Local Mitchell Shire Council and the RSPCA and hopefully get him out of this situation.
