Pushcart vendors have long provided Downtown Crossing with alternative retail options for food & accessories, without interfering in the operation of DTx's retail establishments.

BID claims Downtown Crossing needs upgraded carts/merchandise, thereby forcing the current vendors out of DTx by the end of March, 2013 (now extended to the end of May, 2013). This petition will show Downtown Boston BID that current vendors/merchandise in Downtown Crossing are (and should continue to be) a staple of this district.
