In the summer of 2020 the Douglas County School District sent out a survey to parents regarding the return to school in relation to the COVID epidemic. The parents of Douglas County responded that 84% of families wanted to return to 100% in-person learning. The Douglas County School Board disregarded this overwhelming response and put into place a hybrid learning system. 

This petition is made as an effort to vote no confidence in the Douglas County School District Board as a result of their poor choices. We as parents refuse to accept the Districts Decision and appeal to elect our own members who will give families a choice as requested.
