I have struggled on whether or not I should chime in. I am no political person. But I have seen what is going on in Douglas, and I support the mayor. I appreciate how the mayor represents Douglas. Mayor, you have brought so much focus and positive attention to our border community. I am disappointed to see the hate and vile behavior from some people. But what I want you to know Mayor, is that people from Douglas and out of Douglas see your efforts. You are trying, you are passionate, you love our community, you respect our people, and for that, I thank you. You have brought real change to Douglas and time will tell. I started this campaign to spread the truth about your work. Through your community actions, you have inspired me to get involved, and for that I support you.
