Bow Valley College is the only post secondary institute that does not have access to the UPass program with Calgary Transit.  Currently, 95% of Bow Valley College students take transit because parking in the core is next to impossible and extremely expensive. 

Calgary Transit has been stubborn on this issue and claims that BVC doesn't qualify because of the percentage of students that would use the UPass is too high and that they would lose money if they offered it.  Fun Fact: Bow Valley College used to have the UPass until they did a survey (On the City Hall Station Platform located next to the doors of the college).  They determined that too many people were using the pass so they took it away.
