The province has asked healthcare workers to show up to their worksites every day, risking their lives and their loved ones in the process.  It's important that we lighten their load by allowing them to park for free at the hospitals during the pandemic.  Allowing free parking for healthcare workers and the public would also mean that they would not have to come into physical contact with parking kiosks.

This is completely doable for Ontario to do.  BC has already suspended parking fees for healthcare workers and the public staring Apr 1.  It's just the right thing for us to do as well.

This petition is inspired by the grassroots movement from BC folks who successfully petitioned the provincial government to suspend parking fees.  This petition is also a response to what we've been hearing from Ontario healthcare workers.
