We recently posted an update on this site about an April 30, 2024 Toronto Star investigation concerning Tarion's mediation process.

The Apr. 30 Star article is a good start, but it may only be the "tip of the iceberg" regarding problems with Tarion's mediation process.

It's also important to consider the Ministry's (now called Public and Business Service Delivery) role in this.

In addition to calling for an external review, CPBH proposed key considerations for the scope of the requested external audit/review, for example conducted by the Auditor General of Ontario.

We look forward to Minister Todd McCarthy's response to our request.
