Yes, you read that headline correctly - Tarion has announced that it is conducting "many inspections" virtually.  Further, in these cases, Tarion expects the homeowner to "serve as the virtual guide via your phone or tablet".

Who benefits from this? Most agree that it is probably not the homeowner.  

This is yet one more reason why the Tarion monopoly needs to end.
