In the early days of CPBH, CPBH volunteers met with some executives from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). A CMHC Vice President said: "This has been tried before but they couldn't make it. I'll give you a couple of years."

A CPBH supporter had this message posted on the marquee at the Gladstone Theatre in Ottawa as a birthday gift to CPBH.  We love it!  Thank you!
