From Brampton to Windsor to Ottawa, last week the message was clear to the Standing Committee on Justice Policy - it needs to go back to the drawing board regarding Tarion. Minister Thompson's Bill 159 will not provide adequate consumer protection.

Fortunately the Ontario Government also has another Bill before it - Bill 169 tabled by MPP Rakocevic - that is largely modeled after Justice Cunningham's Tarion Review recommendations. The Committee also heard last week that Bill 169 is what is needed.
