The Toronto Sun is reporting that Minister Thompson has written to the Chair of the Tarion board advising him:

- there should be a new CEO by Dec. 31, 2019;

- the board should be reduced from 16 to 12 seats; and

- no one group on the board should represent more than 34% of the board.

This is a start, but not nearly enough. Here is what CPBH is calling for:

- remove the Tarion CEO immediately;

- remove the board immediately;

- appoint an Administrator immediately;

- establish a multi-warranty provider system quickly, which would end Tarion's monopoly.
