The latest stalling from the Wynne government: It is now saying that eliminating Tarion's monopoly needs more research. Many agree that this has been researched to death and the results are clear - end Tarion's monopoly! A quote from the 2001 Canadian Home Builders Association study was: “Competition makes a fair marketplace.” Given the Wynne Government’s current focus on "fairness", and given that all of the research that has already been conducted, why is this still being delayed? So, to be clear, research shows that both industry and consumers want a choice – not a monopoly. PLEASE: This is important - Contact your MPP today and ask him/her to amend Bill 166 to end Tarion's monopoly. It's not too late - Bill 166 is not the law yet!
