A newly built home is supposed to be a safe investment - and a place to enjoy. But far too often it turns out to be a nightmare due to serious Ontario Building Code violations, a builder that won’t properly fix the construction defects, and inadequate consumer protection. Some homeowners are posting comments when they sign this petition. Here is one: "We have a 4 1/2 year old house with 140 deficiencies that have been reported to Tarion. We have to prove to them that we have Ontario Building Code Violations. They are still allowing the Builder to build people's dream homes.
