Despite a valid 5 year lease Beijing Garden has been bullied, or harassed, by True North multiple times. Recently True North has “accidentally” cut off the restaurant's phone lines 4 times, shutoff exhaust fan, changed locks to the roof and then called fire department. See details at http://sendit.nbc12.com/Mobile/Media/View/27474117 On Mar 2nd and this afternoon True North refused to allow food truck delivery to the restaurant. Today's case is after Court issued Work Place Harassment restrain orders to Reblin and Christensen. True North also made false reports to the fire department that caused the rolling out of fire trucks exposes first responders to danger on the streets as they rush to a scene that is created falsely. This is a very serious matter. 668 North turned the fan off and then called the fire department saying they smelled smoke when they knew there was no smoke from Beijing Gardens kitchen. This kind of false reporting is against the law and very dangerous. Per Attorney Jack: The attached reports from the Fire Department show that Andrew Christensen intentionally tampered with the restaurant’s smoke exhaust, in violation of the Phoenix City Fire Code, while people were cooking. This created a fire hazard and put them in danger. He then called the Fire Department on the restaurant, reporting an “odor.” According to Fire Inspector Eric Williams’ report, the complaint was that “smoke was accumulating in the building,” which is false. Making a false report is a crime that reflects adversely on Mr. Christensen’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer in other respects. ER 8.4(b); see also A.R.S. § 13-2907(A)(1),(3). Mr. Christensen’s conduct also generally demonstrated dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation. ER 8.4(c).
