Allow the feral cat colony at Plum Beach, Brooklyn to live in peace! They have all been spayed neutered and vaccinated for rabies!

The Issue

The colony of 25 spayed and neutered cats at Plum Beach are in danger!  Doug Amado has ordered the cats to be trapped and put into shelters by June 20, 2014.  The cats have all been given rabies vaccines and pose no public health threat.  Caretakers work hard to keep their living environment clean.  Some of these cats are friendly abandoned cats.  If these cats are removed, not only will the rodent population increase, but new cats that have not been spayed or nuetered or vaccinated, will take their place!  This would indeed be a health risk!  The feral cats that live in this colony will not be adoptable and surely face being terrified and then put to death.
