A planned cycleway from Bridport to West Bay is set to destroy valuable wildlife habitat, with an overall net loss of greenspace that is significant in a local context. Wild orchids and other treasured plants will be affected.  Sign the petition to voice your concerns over the precise location and excessive width of the cycle route and its impacts on wildlife. We are requesting some modifications including reducing the width of the route through the disused railway line from 3m to 2m and not running the path through orchid habitat south of Chestnut Road by the east side of Burton Road.
