Under the recommendation of the VI pay commission 2006 ,the MACPS was  introduced but the DOPT made it applicable w.e.f. Sep.2008. On appeal to the Honorable Supreme Court of India observed : MACPS BEING THE PART OF PAY STRUCTURE CAN'T BE DEFERRED ,HENCE BE MADE APPLICABLE FROM 01/01/2006. But the DOPT is adamant not to change the earlier date I.e. Sep.2008. Will the Honourable Supreme Court of India take notice ? Many employees , particularly pensioners like me who completed 30 years of service on or before 2006  but retired on suppersnnuation before September 2008 were deprived of benefit of of third MACP. In my case, I completed 30 years of my service on 01/01/ 2004 and retired on suppersnnuation on 31/05/2007 with grade pay of Re.5400/- ,so, I was not granted third MACP. Had the MACPS been implemented w.e.f. 01/01/2006 , I would have retired with grade pay of Rs.  6600/- .Thus I have been deprived of arrears of salary for the period from 1/1/2006 to 31/05/2009( including two years of extended service of reemployment)  , increased amount of leave encashment, gratuity and life long pensionary benefits. Will the DOPT , PMO AND THE HONORABLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA , take notice of the loss caused to the employees / pensioners like me in the presence of the order of the esteemed Apex Court ????
