As a full time delivery driver for DoorDash, it is completely essential to be able to navigate the app as you're driving. Sometimes while delivering food to a customer's house, you could be 5 miles or even more away from the restaurants you frequent, and it is necessary to be able to respond to offer's you receive as you are driving.

Why is it that if we want to accept an order, it is a big button that requires no confirmation, but to decline an offer, it's a small button in the corner of the screen? I have to press it, then press the (now moved) button again to confirm that I'm sure I want to decline it, and then read through your list of reasons and select one! That is not safe to do while driving! It is clear that the app is made to be used while driving. It is an unnecessary distraction that needs to be changed for the wellbeing of delivery drivers.

Solution: Eliminate the screen that tells you "You're the best Dasher for the order" and the reason selection. Not only is it unsafe but as independent contractors it's not important why we choose not to. We run a business and every business is different. I would like to see the decline button become slightly bigger, and make it a 2 tap for confirmation. Keep the button where it is, make it become red when pressed, and if pressed again the order disappears. It would be much safer and also eliminate the risk of accidentally declining an order you wanted.
